ABOUT
I'm Zoe, a photographer and director based in London, but my work takes me worldwide. I specialise in social documentary photography & portraiture.
I started out as a graphic designer, sat behind a screen and in need of more connection, I picked up a camera. As a designer at a music magazine, I had access to gigs and festivals around the UK & Europe and ended up shooting for many of them. Over the years, my work evolved into a journalistic documentary style of storytelling.
I believe in immersing myself in communities to truly understand their experiences. My camera allows me access into people’s lives, and it’s what I love the most. Connection and building trust are at the core of my work. This approach extends to my commercial work, where I bring an authentic, photo-journalistic style.
